Ever wake up and think:
âWhat the heck did THAT mean?â
Monsters, staircases, your childhood piano teacher in a submarine⊠what is your brain even doing?!
|
 |
Youâre not alone.
Confusing and complicated dreams are some of the most powerful dreams youâll ever have.
And guess what?
Itâs not by accident.
Itâs by design.

Freud believed that when the message in a dream is too powerful or life-changing, your subconscious will intentionally make it confusing.
Why?
Because if it delivered that message too clearly, your conscious mind would reject it.
|
 |
So instead, it sneaks in through the back door with bizarre symbols, strange plots, and wild scenes, all designed to bypass your inner critic and get straight to your soul.

đ€Ż The Weirder the Dream,
The Deeper the Meaning.
|
|
Just this week, I sat down with a Dream Show guest named Sam.
He bravely shared a dream that was so complex, so tangled, so… well, bonkers⊠that I felt a lump in my throat.
âOkay Jesse,â I thought, âDo you really have what it takes?â
It wouldâve been easier to cancel the episode.
But instead of trying to interpret every little detail, I zoomed out and started with a general theme.
|
 |
What happened next left Sam speechless.
Once we connected the dots, the dream revealed a powerful emotional truth heâd been carrying for years, unspoken, unprocessed, and now finally ready to heal.
If you want to see the full recording, it will post soon on my YouTube channel, make sure youâre subscribed here! www.youtube.com/@lyonmentalhealth

đ€ So What Should You Do
With Dreams Like This?
|
|
 |
- Donât ignore them just because theyâre messy.
- Donât try to decode every detail right away.
- Start with the overall mood, setting, and shifts.
- Ask: What does this remind me of emotionally?
|
Because when dreams get weird, it means your mind is protecting the message in a disguise,
but it still desperately wants you to hear it.

|
Your mind is not against you.
Itâs just misunderstood.
These dreams arenât trying to confuse you out of spite.
Theyâre trying to protect the most emotional parts of you until youâre ready to look.
And if you are ready, donât turn away.
This could be the best chance you have at healing.
