When people say, “I dreamed this would happen and then it did,” what they are often describing is this:
Your subconscious noticed something was already unfolding.
A relationship drifting.
Burnout creeping in.
Anxiety quietly tightening its grip.
A boundary being crossed one too many times.
This is especially true if you have trauma in your past.
Trauma trains your nervous system to scan for danger constantly. Not because you are broken, but because at one point, being alert kept you safe. Dreams become the place where that vigilance finally speaks up.
